Don’t miss out on this local gem!

I have been coming to this place for 37 years and I am yet to be disappointed! I also want to acknowledge the outstanding service of one person in particular, Alicia, who is very courteous, polite, soft spoken and attentive to everyone's need. This is what I really call, "customer care ".

I went here with my best friend for breakfast and it was absolutely delicious. We got the pork with green sauce and some sort of sweet breakfast. I don't remember, but we shared them both and they were absolutely delicious. The service was amazing. Everyone who worked there seemed so kind. Feels like a family business. My friend took me here because it's one of her favorite places to go and I definitely see why. I will definitely be returning the next time. I'm back in San Jose.

Still just as good as I remember and still has that homey feeling. I'm glad this staple is still around; it's convenient and the food has remained consistent. Service was very quick and we were seated right away. They expanded their seating area to outside (I'm guessing since covid). Arriving around 10am there were a few tables taken, but as we finished up our brunch, the inside was packed and outside had a couple of tables seated. We ordered off their weekend special menu: I got the huevos rancheros with scrambled eggs and a side of swedish crepes, while my partner ordered the tri-tip and sunny side up eggs with a well-done pancake. The orange juice hit the spot, as did the coffee. Everything was cooked really well, especially the well-done pancake had a crisp that my husband liked. The fried corn tortillas stayed crispy and I was able to get the beans, egg, and salsa all in one bite. Plenty of food, all delicious.

Weekend specials were really good, service was very decent. Sometimes it could be pretty crowded but mostly you should be good. We went for the crab avocado eggs Benedict and it was really good

Long time customer of Country Inn Cafe and am finally getting around to writing a review :) The restaurant staff are absolutely lovely and the food is good! My fav is the breakfast burrito. My bf is an avid pancake lover and says Country Inn makes the best pancakes he's ever had!

Loved this spot!! It'd be my go-to weekend brunch if it were closer to Campbell. The outdoor patio is sooo spacious and chill. Very well-covered and shady, too. Very low key, neighborhood type place. The restaurant felt very familiar but a little off -- apparently it used to be a holders country inn, but is now in the same restaurant group as mission city grill in Santa clara. Gotta say, the food's several notches above holder's. Really enjoyed crepes with lingonberry butter and the crispy hashbrowns. Also appreciated that there were quite a few Mexican-esque items on the menu. Portions generous, service good, plenty of parking. Will definitely be back!

Good food, low prices, great service I've often had breakfast here, but recently saw a sign saying they are open for dinner. I went with a friend. I ordered a patty melt, which was AMAZING. My friend ordered fried chicken, which was tasty but a little dry. I also had a house margarita, which was good. Prices were very reasonable, and portions were large. The best thing was the really friendly and helpful service. This isn't an incredible dining experience in any respect, but I'll definitely stop back regularly. It's a good casual place for a decent meal and a nice experience.

We've been here a few times and have always enjoyed our meals. It's a very casual place and not noisy at all every time we've been here for breakfast or lunch. You can sit at the counter and watch sports on TV, sit at a table/booth, or sit outside in their covered patio. And we've always been seated right away. I got the Chicken Apple Sausage with eggs over easy and hash browns and got it with a pancake. Very good! If you like spicy salsa, besides The Pepper Plant hot pepper sauce they provide in the bottle, ask for their housemade salsa. It's does have a spicy kick to it. The service is always great, and they frequently check in on you if you want more coffee or need anything else.

It was Saturday morning and I had to go to the Electrify America station to charge the car. After I got the car plugged in, there was a little voice that said to go over to the Country Inn Café you just passed and treat yourself to a nice breakfast. Now usually when I have gone out for breakfast it has been with the family. So was this little voice an angel encouraging me to go and relax and rejuvenate with some "me time". Or was it a little devil that wanted me to go and take pictures of what I ate to show them what daddy did without them. I think it was a little bit of both. What I really liked was that they had this very nice open outdoor dining area. My waitress was very nice and friendly. She explained to me that this used to be one of Holder's Country Inn restaurants but it was under different ownership but had the same menu. So I ordered my usual eggs over easy, bacon, sliced tomatoes and Swedish pancakes (with that wonderful lingonberry butter). And yep, it was just as awesome as the other Country Inn restaurants. The star of the show was the Swedish pancakes. I could just eat these until I pass out. Overall both the food and service were fantastic. I highly recommend it.
